August 2026
From the Publisher
Hello August!
Numbers are so important in publishing, like the date you’re releasing a book and the number of books in a print run.
How about 1? That’s the birthday we’ll be celebrating on August 19.
7 is the number of books we’ll have out by the end of this year. 1421 is the street number of the cottage we work out of in Columbia, SC’s historical district. 978-1-966829-15-7 is the International Standard Book Number (ISBN) of our coming release Here’s to the Silly Ones
443 is the number of Enough Elizabeths we’ve sold to date. 125,211 is the number of libraries of all kinds in the United States today according to the American Library Association
There are so many more numbers to consider when running a publishing house, so here’s a Zine I have to help me out. https://microcosmpublishing.com/catalog/zines/35085
Best wishes,
Annette
