Dear all,
Last night I went to a vision board workshop. A few women made sleek digital boards; others went old-school with paper and glue. We were given broad guidelines, which no one followed, and we spent far more time talking about divorces, mothering, and travel than actually vision boarding.
Still, something did emerge in the end. I left with images of windows for letting the light in, and plates, teapots, and florals signaling the power of the tea party. I have lofty goals for Lucky Rabbit in 2026, but oddly, none of them ranked as high on my vision board as cookies, pastries, a photo of Roberta Flack, and one completely random alpaca.
That, I suppose, is the quiet magic of a mindfulness activity.
